DR SPARKMAN Ferguson will hold his 15th annual Epiphany Organ Recital on Thursday, January 30, not on Thursday, the 24th as incorrectly reported in Wednesday’s Features Section.
The recital will be held at 7.45pm at Christ Church Cathedral and Dr Ferguson will perform works composed by German composers George Frederick Handel, Felix Mendelssohn, Johann Sebastian Bach, Dutch composer Jan Mulder, French composer Theodore Dubois, American composer Charles Callahan and English composer Charles Hubert Hasting Perry.
The proceeds of the concert will provide new string instruments for St John’s College students as they prepare to participate in the school’s first orchestra.
There is no admission charge, however donations can be made during a collection.
