Countdown on for Operation Potcake

THE much anticipated second instalment of Operation Potcake is set for February 4-6 in communities around New Providence.

The mass spay and neuter project will allow owners to drop their pets off between 8am and 11am, and pick them up between 4pm and 6pm the same day.

“We are all aware of the stray dog and cat problem in our communities,” said the organisers in a press release.

“For five days, Operation Potcake will fix your dog or cat for free. Take your pet into a clinic near you for a free spay or neuter.”

Dogs can be brought to St Bede’s Church Hall off Kemp Road, Our Lady Church on Deveaux Street off East Street and Oral’s Golden Auto on Carmichael and Golden Isles.

Cats can be dropped at the Bahamas Humane Society in Chippingham.
