TWO armed men, one with a handgun and the other wielding a knife, robbed a business in Eight Mile Rock, Grand Bahama of cash, police said.
The masked men entered the business, located in the Pinedale area, just before 10pm on Friday. Police said the gunman was described as about 5’9”, of average build. He was wearing a long-sleeved white shirt and long camouflage trousers. A dark cloth covered his face.
The other thief is about 5’7” and of average build. He was wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt and dark, long cargo trousers.
Both suspects fled the area on foot.
Police have asked anyone with information on this robbery to contact them 911/919 or 1-242-348-3444 or 1-242-348-3445 at the Eight Mile Rock Division or call your nearest police station.
The public is also advised that telephone lines for police headquarters at the Gerald Bartlett Complex in Grand Bahama are temporarily out of order.
Police said that “efforts are being made to have these telephone lines restored.”
