Kendrick Christie, president of the Bahamas Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE), has congratulated Gaylord Taylor, an associate member, who was appointed to its Board of Directors.
Mr Taylor brings a former law enforcement background and security knowledge to the Chapter. He also resides in Freeport, which has been identified by the Chapter as a potential source of new members and growth in the association.
Mr Christie said the Chapter’s focus is on educating the public on possible Value-Added Tax (VAT) fraud as the new system is rolled out, as well as giving the Government meaningful advice on possible methods to combat this.
