'The Club' brings young Christians together

RECOGNISING a need for more positive youth-based activities, a group of people on Eleuthera got together to create “The CLUB” for young Christians.

The CLUB, which stands for “Craziest, Loudest, Unbelievably Blessed” was created to be a social gathering for young people aged 13 to 25; there is also a Kids Club for children aged two to 12.

According to members, the CLUB is dedicated to the “intensive, holistic support of young people, ensuring that they have an opportunity to excel in life through teamwork, motivation and service.” It aspires to empower and nurture young people on their journey towards realising their full physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual potential.

Moreover, The CLUB also seeks to provide an atmosphere where young people can make positive and lasting changes in their lives, enabling them to become vital, dependable and contributing members of society, the organisers said.

The very first installation of the CLUB took place last Friday and attracted hundreds of Eleuthera youngsters.

Members of the CLUB said they are looking forward to having “more fun in Christ” as the event gets bigger and better in the future.
