THE Marine and Water Park Operations division at Atlantis, Paradise Island was recently recognised and awarded as ‘Tour Operator of the Year’ by Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Azamara Cruise Lines.
The award, which is given to the most outstanding tour operator based on the highest grossing revenue by all tour operators in the world, helps to further strengthen Atlantis’ company vision to be the most desired and complete destination resort experience in the world. Atlantis, Paradise Island was selected out of six continents and all countries around the world where these cruise lines have ships.
Resort president and managing director George Markantonis and chief operating officer Paul Burke shares in the excitement of the award and congratulates the resort’s associates who helped to make the noteworthy achievement a reality.
“This is an outstanding accolade. Very deserving and very impressive,” said Mr Markantonis.
Mr Burke added, “Outstanding! We all know how hard this team works at making this relationship profitable for us!”
Present onboard the Celebrity Constellation to accept the prestigious award on behalf of Atlantis were Mark Gsellman - General Manager and Senior Vice President, Marine and Water Park Operations; Henry Bain, Director of Sales and Marketing and Vanessa Zuccarini, Director of Brand Communications – Plantation Florida Office.
