Nassau to host top financial conference

Nassau will this year host what is touted by organisers as the largest financial services summit in the region, STEP Caribbean Conference (CC) 2014.

Under the theme ‘Explore the Possibilities’, this year’s conference has a stellar line of speakers drawn from the world’s financial services and trust sector.

Set to run from May 12-14 at Atlantis, the conference will welcome more than 450 delegates from around the Caribbean and the world.

“Increasingly, trust professionals are facing a myriad of issues on a daily basis, and change seems to be the only constant”, said Dianne Bingham, chair of STEP CC 2014.

“This conference will provide delegates with thought leadership on a variety of topics, and we have stayed true to our mandate to bring together subject matter experts to Nassau from around the globe.”

This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Professor Kevin Dutton. He is an expert on the science of social influence, and is a research psychologist and honorary affiliated member of the Calleva Research Centre for Evolution and Human Sciences at Magdalen College, Oxford University.

Thirteen jurisdictions in the Caribbean region are participating in this year’s conference.
