Your 'journey to self-discovery'

A scheme is being launched to help people on their “Journey To Self-Discovery”.

The free four-week programme is being held every Saturday from 9am-3pm at the Church of Christ, East Beach Drive, Freeport, and will feature young professionals Keshelle Kerr-Davis, Davrielle Burrows, Lenelle Sawyer, Chevette Black, Collage Entertainment and Raquel Beneby-Hart.

The scheme aims to help students answer the question ‘Why am I here?” by clarifying values, exploring skills and overcoming intuitive blocks.

Programme Co-ordinator Deyon Anteko Pitter said she was inspired many years ago to reach out to the youth of the country and help them to find their purpose as she saw that her son was most productive when he was allowed to explore the areas of his gifting.

Ms Pitter said that the first annual program was planned to help the thousands of young people coming out of school at the end of June with preparation for life after graduation. Registration on the website journeytoselfdiscovery.org is free for students between the ages of 15 and 19.

The organisation is still in need of corporate sponsors. For more information or to make a contribution, call 242-225-6808 or visit the website.
