EDITOR, The Tribune.
Some people have more gall than common sense. I see where one letter writer criticised Mrs Loretta Butler Turner about her call for a march to protest the PLP failing to stand with thousands of Bahamians with mortgages in arrears.
For anyone who knows how to read properly Mrs Butler Turner clearly said that she would consult with her colleagues on the idea of the march.
But Leader of the Opposition Dr Hubert Minnis is so petty and jealous of his deputy that he’s more interested in knocking her down than standing with struggling Bahamians.
On this matter, Mrs Butler Turner is right. Dr Minnis is dead wrong. I hear that the PLP is very happy with the position of Dr Minnis. FNMs are happy with the position of Mrs Butler Turner.
Mrs Butler Turner is standing with FNMs and those struggling with mortgages. Dr Minnis only seems interested in his own fortunes. Clearly this is a clear difference between a leader who cares for all the people (Mrs Butler Turner) and someone (Dr Minnis) who only seems to care about his own position.
