Smith was charged with two counts of unlawful assault of Keytel Culmer and Rochelle Forbes, and one count of threats of unlawful harm of Keytel Culmer.

Nerenal was charged with two counts of threats of unlawful harm of Keytel Culmer and Rochelle Forbes.

According to police, around noon on Tuesday, the two BEC disconnectors went to a home at Avocado Street, Pinewood Gardens to disconnect the electricity supply due to

non-payment.

When they arrived at the residence, they were confronted by two men who prevented them from disconnecting their power supply by assaulting and threatening them with a large rock.

The workers filed a complaint with officers at the South Beach Police Station who arrested the two suspects a short while later.

Smith was granted $4,000 bail with two sureties.

However, Nerenal’s case was stood over pending the outcome of an immigration status check.
