A MAN IS fighting for his life in hospital after being shot multiple time late Thursday night.

It happened around 11pm.

According to reports, police received information of a shooting on Podoleo Street. When police arrived on the scene they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in his body. He was taken to hospital by ambulance where he is listed in critical condition.

Investigations continue.

Police are also asking for the public’s help in solving an armed robbery that happened Thursday afternoon.

According to reports, shortly after 4pm, two men were standing in front of a business establishment at Hillside Estates off Mackey Street, when two men armed with handguns robbed them of cash, jewellery and a cell phone before fleeing on foot.
