POLICE arrested a murder suspect during a special operation over the weekend while another man wanted for questioning in connection with a murder investigation turned himself in, the Royal Bahamas Police Force said.

Police said a 21-year-old male resident of Garden Hills was arrested in connection with the murder of a 38-year-old victim. The man was killed on Adderley Street on October 28.

The arrest was part of a police operation across New Providence on Friday night. The suspect was picked up shortly before 10pm.

Police also arrested 22 other people for various offences, including armed robbery, drug possession, threats of death and outstanding warrants.

Police also said that Carson Farrington turned himself into the Central Detective Unit for questioning around 1pm on Friday. Farrington was one of several men for whom police had issued an all points bulletin at a press conference last week.
