Atlantis ranked seventh in world for families

Atlantis has been ranked seventh on Travel+Leisure’s list for the World’s Best Hotels for Families, landing in the top tier for the Caribbean, Bahamas and Bermuda.

“This continued recognition from travellers from all over the world is proof positive that we are doing something right at Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas,” its president and managing director, George Markantonis, said in a statement.

“Our belief that our visitors deserve the highest level of customer service and an all-around memorable experience remains our focus; from how we all interact with them to the amazing teams that get together behind the scenes to come up with all of the wonderful activities and amenities that we offer our guests.

“A wow experience that will be positively and enthusiastically talked about for years and years. That is what our nearly 8,000-strong Atlantis family is encouraged to do each and every day, with each and every customer, and we are thrilled it?s paying off in such a rewarding way.”

Aquaventure, the 141-acre waterscape at Atlantis, which comes complete with rides, slides and pools, has proven a major draw for travelling families.

Travel+Leisure’s World’s Best awards include a global round up of top family resorts, as chosen by its readers in the annual World’s Best Awards Survey. Atlantis is no stranger to this honour, having been awarded previously in 2012, 2011, 2009 and 2003.
