Festive fun at Kelly's as Toyland and Fantasy Forest are opened

THE arrival of Santa Claus and Snowbear signalled the opening of Kelly’s House & Home’s Toyland and Fantasy Forest last Saturday and was greeted with cheers and laughter from hundreds of children and adults.

Balloons, candy, popcorn, face paintings and a bouncy castle were the order of the day while the Aquinas Marching Band, directed by Shona Knowles, provided the music. Tabitha Butler-Smith, Kelly’s bride of the year, escorted Santa and Snowbear and greeted children at the animated Fantasy Forest, where the first visitors were Sumaiya and Keyno Gibson, along with their father.

Denise Darville, Toy Department Area Manager at Kelly’s, said the early Christmas top sellers at Toyland were Nerf-N Strike, Baby Alive Dolls, Grow with me Trike Bikes for boys and girls, Ez Bake Ultimate Oven, Sweet dreams Dora Doll and Razor Scooters.

Santa and Snowbear will be available at Kelly’s for photos on Saturdays during November from noon to 5pm and donations will go to the Nazareth Centre Children’s Home.
