MACEDONIA dominates BSC Track and Field Classic

MACEDONIA dominated the delayed Baptist Sports Council (BSC) Track and Field Classic on Saturday at the original Thomas A Robinson Track and Field Stadium, finishing with 609 points.

Ebenezer Mission Baptist Church came second with 337 and New Bethany Baptist Church third with 139.

In winning the title, Macedonia took first in the under-15 girls, under-20 girls, open female, under-10 boys and open men. Ebenezer won the under-5 girls, under-10 girls, under-5 boys, under-15 and under-20 boys divisions.

Macedonia also added seven of the 12 individual most outstanding awards through Brenae Stubbs, under-20 girls; Eddison Adderley, under-10 boys; Christina Heild, under-15 girls; Dejaunnique Lightbourne, under-20 girls; David Johnson III, under-20 boys; Ashley Williams, open women and Denero Rahming, open men.

The other individual divisional winners were Shekinah Johnson, Ebenezer, under-5 girls; Joshua Symonette, Ebenezer; Rev Dino Cartwright, masters men; and Gloria Forbes in the masters women.

The event was sponsored jointly by Rubis Oil Bahamas Ltd and Buttons Formal Wear.
