BOWLING

FINANCIAL LEAGUE

THE top player in Financial Bowling League competition last night was Sammie Symonette of Strike Force, who toppled the pins for a respectable 578 three game set.

Corey Bruney of Deloitte & Touche claimed the Runner-up MVP Award with an outstanding high game of 242 and a 560 second high set. Phil Sands of Leno Corporate Services downed the pins for the second high game of 210.

The ladies were led by Xynea Johnson of the Fidelity Bulldogs, who dropped the pins for a 210 high game and a 560 three game set.

Johnson was followed by Uchena Delva also of Sunshine Insurance with a 174 second high game and a 453 second high set.

SOFTBALL

BSC ACTION

AFTER getting rained out the past week, the Baptist Sports Council will attempt to wrap up its regular season in the 2014 Coca-Cola Softball Classic this week at the Banker’s Field at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex.

Here’s a look at the schedule on tap:

Tuesday night - 7 pm St. John’s vs St. Paul’s (co-ed); 8 pm Golden Gates vs Faith United (M).

Thursday night - 7 pm Golden Gates vs Macedonia (co-ed); 8 pm Faith United vs Macedonia (M).

The playoffs is scheduled to start on Saturday, November 30.
