I BET you can’t say ‘spatiotemporal human interaction’ three times fast; and with the third single, more commonly referred to as “S H I” from Jay Complex’s recently released EP “religionROUGE” you won’t have to, because the song is definitely more calming than the title would suggest.

“S H I”, featuring Judah Tha Lion, explores the concept of space and time – hence the title – and is a witty way of the artists speaking about a person you have a crush on and the way time and space seems to flow when you are around them.

When it comes to music, Complex said: “For me music is like the best possible high.”

‘S H I’ is the follow-up to ‘D U I’ (Drowning Under the Influence) featuring Ye Ali and ‘Swerve In’ featuring Chase Fernander from Complex’s religionROUGE, which was released July 31. It is the fourth project from Complex and is already shaping up to be the one that defines him as an artist.

When the EP first dropped, Complex noted that he “hoped that everyone would respect the music enough to sit through the religionROUGE experience,” and with a song like “S H I” it’s not hard to sit and enjoy the music at all.
