SURELY Ministry of Tourism did not need such a large delegation, to announce the once a week flights from Vancouver, BC by SUNWING to Grand Bahama or have we hit oil and have excess funds?
The Minister, Director General, Tourism, Deputy Director General, Tourism, Aide to the Minister and seemingly 4-5 others.
What did that excursion to Vancouver cost The Treasury? Airfare, 1st class of course, upscale hotel and ground chauffeur at the minimum... what $30-$40,000?
Yes, we all appreciate adding airlift, but this surely is over kill and a waste.
Where is the Opposition Finance Committee - asking the obvious questions? Still asleep, fighting over who will be da’ Leader, hey?
Wake up folks, we ain’t got inexhaustible funds.
