Re: $400,000 Salary For College President Defended By Teaching Union Chief (The Tribune, October 1).
This compelling salary demand (sweetened with other benefits, of course) should be regarded as a bargain-basement price and therefore be approved ASAP ... bearing in mind that the going rate for a non-plagiarist would probably be considerably higher.
