Congratulations go to Mr Robert Myers for his sterling example of how personal ethics should be applied to positions of public trust and service.
His resignation, not because of personal impropriety, but rather, a decision based on a sense of duty is a rare example of principle lacking in most people in the public eye.
I sincerely wish that this particular attitude would be adopted by a Prime Minister who did to keep his word to an entire country over the National Referendum, and a Governor General who forgot to pay real property tax.
