TWO men are in critical condition and fighting for their lives in hospital after a shooting incident on Thursday night.
Superintendent Paul Rolle of the Central Detective Unit said police are not following any leads in this incident at this time. He said police were waiting to interview either of the two men with the hope of gleaning information that might point them towards the culprits.
According to reports, sometime around 10.50 pm on Thursday, two men – aged 24 and 17 of Barnes Close – were sitting in a yard at Zirconia Court when a man entered the yard armed with a handgun.
The unidentified shooter fired several times, striking the 24-year-old old man to the chest and the 17-year-old to the mouth.
