THE contestants in this year’s Miss Cultural Bahamas pageant were unveiled at a special event over weekend.
Miss Cultural Bahamas is the brainchild of William Reginald Deveaux, who was inspired to bring the event to Bahamas said after vacationing in Jamaica in 2006.
He believed launching a pageant of this nature was a great way for Bahamians to showcase their patriotism.
In the Miss Cultural Bahamas pageant, he said, “everything must be Bahamian”.
