POLICE are seeking the public’s help in solving a stabbing and a shooting that left two men detained in hospital.
In the first incident, shortly after 2pm on Sunday, a man was at Shrimp Road off Carmichael Road when two men riding a moped shot him in his thigh with a handgun before speeding off.
The victim is listed in stable condition in the hospital.
In the second incident, shortly after 4pm on Sunday, a man was at Dean’s Lane when he got into an argument with a man known to him and was subsequently stabbed in the chest, police said. He was taken to the hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
