THE Bahamas National team, fresh of their victory over Bermuda, arrived in the Turks and Caicos on Thursday for their international match on Saturday. If the team win, the Bahamas will advance back up to zone 1 with Cayman and Mexico.
“We got in this morning settled in the hotel. At about 2:30, we went to the pitch and had a 3 hour training session, said team coach Manoli Roussos from the Turks and Caicos. “The team is focused and ready to go. Being here in Turks the players have nothing to worry about and no distractions. The family (team) is doing great and the brotherhood is like I’ve never been a part of.
“We believe and trust each other. And that’s what the team is based on. Tomorrow we have a light training and make our final adjustments. We have a lot to accomplish with this win and now we have the support of our fans which encourages us and drives us to win.”
The Bahamas will play the host Turks and Caicos on Saturday at 3pm.
