WHILE Macedonia and Cousin McPhee locked down the remaining spots in the 15-and-under and 19-and-under divisions for the Baptist Sports Council’s 2015 AID Basketball Classic this weekend, the men’s two spots will be decided tonight at the AF Adderley Gymnasium.
Macedonia holds a 1-0 lead over pennant-winning New Mount Zion after winning 51-45 in the A division. The two teams will play the first game 7:30pm Tuesday. If necessary, the third and deciding game is scheduled to be played at 9:30pm.
In between that series, the third and deciding game in the men’s B division will be played against pennant winning Men of Vision and defending champions Eagles Nest.
Eagles Nest took game one of the series 50-45, but Men of Vision fought back to take game two 45-31. The third and deciding game will be played 8:30pm Tuesday. The two winners will advance to the men’s best-of-three championship series on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Macedonia clinched their berth in the 15-and-under best-of-three final by nipping last year’s runners-up BIBA 26-24 to clinch a 2-1 series victory. Macedonia will now play defending champions St John’s in the best-of-three finals 3pm Saturday at AF Adderley.
Also, pennant winning Macedonia and Cousin McPhee earned their berth in the 19-and-under final after winning their third and deciding games on Saturday. Macedonia took care of BIBA 42-35 and Cousin McPhee won 39-22 over Faith United.
Macedonia and Cousin McPhee are slated to clash on Saturday following the 15-and-under series.

Delano Knowles scored a game high 13 points, Troy Marshall had 11, DeVontee Gibson eight and Prince Dill six as Macedonia took a the lead in their men’s A divisional final. Lamont Armaly had 10 and Ishan Rolle had eight in the loss.
Men of Vision 45,
Eagles Nest 31
Samuel Johnson scored 12 points, Cordero Thompson had nine, Eugene Bain had eight and Tavares Roker six as Men of Vision evened their men’s B divisional final at 1-1. Dario McKenzie scored 10, Levige Forbes had eight and Horris McKenzie had seven in the loss.

Men of Vision 45
Levige Forbes scored a game high 14 and Dario McKenzie had six in the loss.
Men of Vision 50, Mt Tabor 32
Dominique Beadle scored 10 points and Samuel Johnson had nine as Men of Vision advanced to the men’s B divisional final with a two-game sweep. Reginald Chisholm scored nine and Justin McKenzie had six in the loss as Mt Tabor got eliminated.
New Mount Zion 49,
Cousin McPhee 45
Valentino Williams scored 10 points and Lavardo Strachan had nine as New Mt Zion advanced to the men’s A divisional final. Randy Williams scored a game high 16 and Buster Panza had six in a losing effort as Cousin McPhee got eliminated.
Cousin McPhee 48,
New Mt Zion 32
Randy Williams scored a game high 20 points and Jamal Simon added eight as Cousin McPhee evened their men’s A divisional playoff series 1-1. Renaldo Smith and Valentino Williams both had six and Lamont Armaly five in a losing effort.
Cousin McPhee 39,
Faith United 22
Dominic Bridgewater scored a game high 13 and Adrian Thompson had six as Cousin McPhee won their 19-and-under series 2-1 to advance to the final. Asher Scavalla had 11 and Tashad Cornish four in a losing effort.
Macedonia 42, BIBA 35
DeVontee Gibson scored a game high 12 points. Troy Marshall had nine and Brandon Swby seven as Macedonia advanced to the 19-and-under championship with a 2-1 series edge. Rashad Stubbs had 10 and Alex Scavalla added nine in a losing effort.
Macedonia 26, BIBA 24
NaKyle Rolle scored eight and Anton Gibson added five as Macedonia clinched their berth in the 15-and-under championship with a 2-1 series edge.
