Teenager assists police after stabbing in Freeport

A 17-year-old boy is assisting Grand Bahama police with their investigation into a stabbing incident that occurred in Freeport.

Inspector Terecita Pinder said that shortly after 1am on Sunday, police received reports about a stabbing at a club on East Sunrise Highway.

According to initial reports, a male patron was stabbed in the back during an argument with a group of men. He was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in serious but stable condition.

Investigations are continuing into the incident.
