GRAND Bahama police are investigating a traffic accident in Eight Mile Rock that has left a cyclist injured and in hospital.
According to reports, a male resident of Andros Town, Hanna Hill, was riding in the vicinity of Hot Dog’s Sports Bar and Restaurant on Queen’s Highway when the bicycle and a vehicle collided around 7pm.
The vehicle sustained damage to the left front headlight and the windshield, and the bicycle was extensively damaged. The cyclist was seriously injured and taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital, where he is in serious condition.
