LOCAL web shop chain Paradise Games announced yesterday its commitment as title sponsor of the Valley Boys Junkanoo group.

“It’s a fantastic fit for Paradise Games,” said Astra Nottage, media relations manager. “The Valley Boys are synonymous with Junkanoo and a leader in their respective field. We see this commitment as a perfect alignment for Paradise Games as we both share in our passions for Bahamian culture, and more pointedly, the promotion of Junkanoo.”

Not only will this partnership allow both organisations to bring a fresh perspective and energy to the promotion of Junkanoo, it will serve as a catalyst for new and exciting developments in sustainable cultural development, community outreach and education, a press release from Paradise Games said.

“This partnership is a win-win,” said a Valley Boys key spokesman.

Mrs Nottage added: “This sponsorship deal ensures Paradise Games will have even more of a positive impact in the way of bolstering and preserving historical, culturally significant events, deepening our connection with our customers and further establishing our brand as a leading local gaming entity with a strong philanthropic presence.”
