Two customs officers face court

TWO Customs officers have appeared before court on a series of charges.

Grade 1 Custom Officer Jessel Cash, aged 42, of Central Pines, Abaco, and Custom Guard Allison Miller, aged 55, of Marsh Harbour, Abaco, were both arraigned on Wednesday before Magistrate Ancella William-Evans.

They were charged with falsification of account, stealing by reason of employment, forgery, and possession of a forged document.

Both the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges and were granted bail in the amount of $3,500 with one surety. The matter was adjourned until April 11 for trial.
