THE British Colonial Hilton recognised its most outstanding staff performers for 2015 at its annual team member Christmas Party earlier this month.

Nominees were chosen for their consistent performance over a sustained period and were rated on several criteria, including dependability and accuracy of work, positive impact on guest and co-worker relations.

Deryn Prabhu, Catering Sales Manager and Wilkah Hart, Food and Beverage waiter, won Team Leader of The Year and Team Member of The Year respectively. Ms Prabhu has been with the Hilton for five years while Mr Hart has provided 15 years of service. Both have been described by their colleagues as enthusiastic, meticulous workers who have a keen interest in providing quality service to hotel clients and guests.

The winners received a cash prize, round-trip airfare and a four-night stay at any Hilton property within the United States. Rui Domingues, the Hilton’s General Manager, presented the prize packages.
