SENIOR legal figures and politicians joined family members at a memorial service for Colin Callender in Christ Church Cathedral yesterday.
Mr Callender, a Queen’s Counsel, died on December 6 at the age of 74. He was Managing Partner of Callenders and Co, the oldest law firm in The Bahamas.
His wife, Sherrill, children Christy, Jason and Leslie, and some of his grandchildren were in attendance, as were former Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham and former Governor General and Attorney General Sir Orville Turnquest, both lawyers by profession.
