POLICE are seeking the public’s help in finding a woman and a man believed to be responsible for fatally shooting a man and leaving three other victims in hospital.

It was one of three murders that occurred during the holiday weekend, which pushed the country’s murder count to a record 146 for the year.

A purported cell phone video of the incident spread on social media, and shows an assailant opening fire on a man at point blank range during a party at a home in West Ridge on Sunday morning.

According to police, shortly after 1am, a fight broke out at a party at a residence at Cess Hill, West Ridge north, which led to four people being shot by a man and a woman armed with a handgun. The male and female suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle.

An adult male was pronounced dead at the scene. Two males and a female who were also shot were transported to hospital where they remain in stable condition.

A 47-second video of the incident - which was shared on Facebook - depicts an apparent commotion and persons attempting to separate various individuals.

The party’s DJ could be heard warning the crowd that he would leave and the party would be shut down if a fight were to occur.

At 42 seconds into the clip, the deceased victim, wearing a green shirt, is seen approaching a person, clad in dark clothing and a hat, leaning against a wall. That person then pulls out a gun and opens fire on the man at point blank range in the chest, shooting multiple times.

Then on Sunday night, a man and a woman got into an argument in a Chevy truck being driven by the man on Adelaide Road shortly after 8pm.

Police said the woman shot the victim with a handgun and fled the scene leaving the victim in the road.

The victim was rushed to hospital and died of his injuries shortly after 6am on Monday.

A 43-year-old woman turned herself in to the Central Detective Unit after midnight on Monday and is assisting police with their investigations.

Police are also looking for information and suspects concerning a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday.

Police report that shortly after 12.30am on Boxing Day, the man was attending a party at a home at Killdeer Drive, Monastery Park, when he got into an argument with another man that led to him being shot.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Chief Superintendent Paul Rolle has asked anyone with information on these crimes to come forward to police.

During his Christmas address to the nation last week, Prime Minister Perry Christie promised that tougher crime measures would come on stream in 2016.
