BASEBALL

DEATH OF RENO BROWN

ON behalf of president Craig ‘Salty’ Kemp and his executive committee, the membership of the Bahamas Baseball Federation and the baseball community wish to extend condolences and deepest sympathy to the family of Reno Brown, one of the trail blazers and a founding member of baseball in the Bahamas.

Brown received the federation’s lifetime achievement award in 2009. To his son, Julian Brown, a trail blazer in today’s baseball development and rejuvenation in the Bahamas, your baseball family extends its hand of support and comfort during this most difficult time. For me personally, secretary general Teddy Sweeting said, watching you assist your father to morning mass at St Agnes Parish is truly an example for all to emulate.
