A Texas woman is recovering after losing more than five pounds of flesh to a shark bite in the Bahamas, and she says she’ll return to the water when she’s completely better. Lacy Webb Martin was bitten while vacationing in Abaco this month.
The 34-year-old woman said Tuesday during a news conference at a Hollywood, Florida, hospital that she had been snorkeling, following a stingray along the ocean, when she was bitten by what experts have told her was probably a bull shark.
