A MEMORIAL service for Sir Jack Hayward will be held on Monday, February 23, at 4pm at Christ the King Church, Freeport.
His funeral service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, February 3, at St Peter’s Church in Wolverhampton, where he was born. As the church seats only 600 only invited persons will be admitted to the service.
“There are so many fans that we had to do that,” said his elder son, Rick Hayward.
Once owner of his hometown team, the Wolverhampton Wanderers, Sir Jack remained the club’s president and was later inducted into its Hall of Fame.
Sir Jack’s ashes will be spread in various parts of England and The Bahamas.
