PIZZA HUT returns for business again in Nassau today after a few years absence when the world’s largest pizza company opens the doors of its new Saunders Beach branch.

Willard Grant, the operations manager at Pizza Hut Nassau, said the return of the franchise was in response to a “pent-up desire” in the local market and the store will feature a fresh, modern design, online and telephone ordering, digital menu boards and free wifi.

The opening of the store has created up to 50 local jobs and Mr Grant said the brand would expand in the near future “adding more convenient store outlets for consumers and creating new job opportunities”.

The new outlet will cater to businesses and residents in Cable Beach and downtown New Providence with a delivery service. Popular selections such as pan pizza, pasta, wings and desserts also will be introduced alongside international favourites and local preferences. The Saunders Beach outlet will be open daily from 11am to midnight and will present the company’s familiar, nostalgic menu and the options of dine-in and take-out.

Previously, Pizza Hut had a branch on Mackey Street, but it closed a few years ago. Although no promotions have been planned to mark the new restaurant’s opening, Mr Grant revealed that future specials will be implemented based on the public’s reaction.
