NPOTSA ACTION

THE New Providence Oldtimers Softball Association continued its regular season at the Archdeacon William Thompson Softball Park, Southern Recreation Grounds, over the weekend. The following results were posted:

Da Boyz 18,

BS Giants 9

Chavez Thompson went 3-for-4 with two runs batted in and three scores to lead the winners. Shon Higgs was the winning pitcher and Tim Sawyer was tagged with the loss.

Global Rebels 15,

Platinum Sharks 8

Raymond Rolle went 3-for-4 with a pair of hits and as many RBI in the win. Val Munroe was the winning pitcher and Nelson Farrington suffered the loss.

HardyXO 11,

Doc’s Stallions 8

Kevin Lockhart went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in the win. Ivan Hanna got the win and Warren Butler got the loss.

Original Crusaders 14,

BTC Vibes 9

David Gardiner went 2-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored in the win. Craig Bowe was the winning pitcher and Steve Hepburn suffered the loss.

Dozer Pros 20, Corner Boyz 8

Brad Smith went 3-for-4 with a home run and five RBI in the win. Alfred ‘Skater’ Munnings was the winning pitcher and Harold ‘Banker’ Fritzgerald got the loss.

DKS Crusaders 17,

QHC Divers 6

Philip Culmer was 3-for-4 with a homer, five RBI and three runs scored for the winners. Don Dean was the winning pitcher and Emile LeDee suffered the loss.

Action continues this weekend.

BOXING

MAJOR PAIN BOXING

MEACHER Major has announced that his Major Pain Boxing Club is scheduled to host a Kids Fun Day 2-7pm Saturday in the St Margaret’s Church parking lot.

There will be a boxing exhibition, face painting, bouncing castle and live performances. The sponsors of the event are Negril Cafe, The Sports Solution, Buttons Formal Wear and Virgo Car Rentals.
