GRAND Bahama police arrested a 39-year-old man after discovering a quantity of illegal drugs at a residence in the Freeport area on Monday, according to police.
Drug Enforcement Unit officers went to a home located at Garden Villas around 3pm to execute a search warrant.
During a search of the residence, several pounds of marijuana and cocaine were found, police said. The estimated street value of the drugs was not released.
The male occupant of the home is in police custody assisting police with their investigations.
