A 47-year-old Grand Bahama man has been stabbed to death at a home in the Heritage subdivision, Freeport.
Police reports that shortly after 12.30am on Tuesday, officers were called to a home in the Heritage subdivision, where they found a male inside with stab wounds about the upper body. Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene but reported that there were no signs of life.
A female resident of the home is assisting police with their investigation. This is the 87th murder in the Bahamas this year and the ninth in Grand Bahama according to The Tribune's records.
