A 31–year-old woman died in a traffic accident in Eleuthera on Saturday.
Shortly after 9:00am, police received a report of fatal accident at Cotton Bay Estates, South Eleuthera. When police arrived on the scene they found the lifeless body of the woman, who was from Palmetto Point, on the ground with injuries outside of a wrecked overturned 2002 blue Volkswagen vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to reports, the victim was driving on the main road in South Eleuthera when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into nearby bushes where the vehicle overturned.
Officers from the RBPF Traffic Department, New Providence, traveled to Eleuthera to assist with the investigations.
