Baptist Sports Council’s AID Basketball Classic gets into full gear

THE Baptist Sports Council continued its 2015 AID Basketball Classic at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex over the weekend. The following is a look at the games played:

Faith United 34,

New Mt Zion 26

Averie Armbrister scored 10 points, Bertrum Minns had seven and Cordero Johnson six to lead Faith United men to victory.

Eagles Nest 38,

Evangelistic Centre 32

Able Joseph scored 15 points, Dario McKenzie had nine and Horris McKenzie seven as Eagles Nest men won. Tyrone Sands Sr had 12 and Corey Sands added 10 in a losing effort.

Men of Vision 50,

Christian Tabernacle 25

Samuel Johnson scored 14, Ian Pinder had 12 and Edward Elliott six in their men’s victory. Jameel Miller scored a game high 20 in the loss.

Mt Tabor 40,

Christian Tabernacle 36

Justin McKenzie scored nine and Jermaine Bethel and Marcian Higgs both had four in their men’s victory. Jameel Miller scored a game high 18 and Stephon Miller added seven in the loss.

Faith United 30,

Calvary Deliverance 9

William St Gerard scored 11, Averie Armbrister had nine and Graylen Grey six in their men’s victory. Anton Francis and Rashad Sturrup both had three in the loss.

St John’s 27, Faith United 26

Gregory Seymour scored 12 and Adam Johnson had 11 in the win for St John’s 19-and-under. Bertrum Minns had a game high 28 and Jonaldo Joseph added eight in the loss.

BIBA 27, Mt Tabor 17

Sylvester Moss scored eight, Alex Scavalla had six and Rashad Stubbs five in their 19-and-under win. Marcian Higgs and Crosley Wilmore both had six in the loss.

Cousin McPhee 32,

Mt Tabor 27

Jamal Simon scored a game high 14 and Adrian Thompson added eight in their 19-and-under win. Both Kevin Cooper and Marcian Higgs scored 10 in the loss.

Cousin McPhee 28,

Macedonia B 19

Dominic Bridgewater scored 10 and Jamal Simon had seven in their 19-and-under win. Tyreke Carroll had seven and Henrick Sands five in the loss.

Eagles Nest 33,

Macedonia B 26

Dario McKenzie scored 18 points and both Tario McKenzie and Shaquille Outten had five apiece in their 19-and-under win. Henrick Sands scored seven and Gregory Munroe added six in the loss.

BIBA 27, Eagles Nest 17

Grevrico Goodman scored 13 and Donovan Forbes had eight in BIBA’s 15-and-under win. Trelle Bridgewater scored nine in the loss.

Macedonia 19, Mt Tabor 16

Emmanuel Woodside scored eight and both Tevon Dill and Theon Hall had four in their 15-and-under win. Chrispin Rolle had eight in the loss.

St John’s 20, Eagles Nest 17

Stony Duncanson scored a game high 10 and both Jarrett Delancy and Voshon Bullard had six each in the loss.
