A MAJOR search and rescue operation is under way in the Berry Islands to find two fishermen who went missing in waters off Great Harbour Cay on Saturday.
Dwayne Deangelo Winder, 23, and Leslie Travis Winder, 25, both of William Dean Senior Highway, Bullocks Harbour, left on a fishing trip around 9am in a white and grey vessel, between ten and 15 feet in length, with a 25bhp engine.
The men were last seen in the area of Little Sturrup Cay around 1pm on Saturday. Police in Great Harbour Cay and operatives from BASRA, the US Coast Guard and local residents are actively searching for them.
