Let the records speak

EDITOR, The Tribune.

I sometimes I wonder if weird people are attracted to politics, or politics make people weird?

I recall many years ago Sir Lynden and Algernon Allen involved in a heated exchange in Parliament. I remember an angry Sir Lynden saying “I know I ain’t gat no AIDS”! It’s unclear who or what Pindling was referring to. However, Allen took extreme umbrage to that remark. In fact he was so incensed that during another sitting of Parliament, Allen presented his medical record. It is very interesting to note that Allen was under no obligation (implied or applied) to so do.

Consequently, I am mystified that he is so vigorously resisting any attempt by the PAC to appear before them, and simply answer questions concerning Public Money!

I just don’t get it, the man voluntarily exposed his medical record in public, but is refusing to expose public records to designated authority! My, my, my!
