THE New Providence Oldtimers Softball Association is slated to return to action over the weekend of November 7-8.

BSC TRACK MEET

BECAUSE of the public holiday weekend, the Baptist Sports Council has announced that it will move its 2015 track and field competition from Saturday, October 10 to Saturday, November 14.

The event will be held at the Thomas A Robinson Track and Field Stadium.

At that time, the BSC will attempt to introduce its battle of the band, step and banner competitions between the various associations within the Baptist organisation.

SOFTBALL

CLASSIC

THE Baptist Sports Council has announced that its 2015 softball classic will begin at the Banker’s Field in the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex on Saturday, November 7.

The league will feature competition in the under 15, under-19, co-ed and men’s division.

The registration fee is $200 per team per division.

Interested teams are urged to contact either Brent Stubbs at stubbobs@gmail.com, Jonique Webb at joniquewebb@hotmail.com or Nicola Major at seek_ye_first@hormail.com by Friday, September 25 to confirm participation.

THE Rising Star Youth Baseball & Softball Development League, with a wish to recognise the pioneers of both sporting disciplines on Grand Bahama, will show its respect for their efforts during a dinner at Le Chateau on the Green, Freeport, on Saturday, November 28.
