Pointe permits

EDITOR, The Tribune.

Re: The Pointe Permits (The Tribune, Letters, October 29)

Mention is made of the lack of permits for dredging and land reclamation.

But surely no permits are necessary since any changes in the coastline could also be quite easily explained by a natural phenomenon which occurs fairly often in The Bahamas.

Geologically, it is known as “accretion” and there is said to be an excellent example of it at the western end of New Providence.

not sure how you think this makes sense... It's like saying, because it rains.... i don't need any permission or notice to wet you up with the hose pipe..................
