Re: Distress Call

EDITOR, The Tribune.

It’s interesting to note that it’s only after the murder rate had surpassed the record set in 2011 that at 133 the Prime Minister, as per The Tribune, 16 November 15, is “Distressed”. It’s unbelievable! It’s only after three and a half long years, that he has just become distressed and the record for this same period (three and a half years) stands at approximately 483. During his campaign, he said that he had the answer and the solution to the vexing crime issue.

If the PM is distressed, then how does that family member feel when they send a text telling their child to come home, only to learn that it’s their child/family member who was gunned down?  

If the captain is distressed, what a legacy; I’m distressed; I need a glimmer of help and hope.
