RICARDO'S NFL PICKS WEEK 11

What is it with this topsy-turvy season?

LAST weekend gave me a pretty good view of the parody that exists in the NFL.

In week 10 teams that had no business winning, not only won games but, manhandled their opponents.

I am so done trying to justify my picks this season because no matter the route I choose, I can find an argument to justify why the other team can and should also win.

Therefore, for the remainder of this season I am going to dedicate my time and energy to cheering

(without objectivity) for my still undefeated Patriots.

I was 4-10 last week! I now have such a ridiculous win/loss record on the year.

But number in your programmes and number one in my heart - the Patriots are at nine and fine baby!

Tennessee Titans (2-7) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (3-6)

Both teams are still mathematically alive in the AFC South, the joys of playing in a horrible division. The Jaguars have been a tough out all season, and so has the Titans when they have had first year QB Marcus Mariota under centre. I think this is going to be a tough, physical game.

JAGUARS

Oakland Raiders (4-5) @ Detroit Lions (2-7)

Raiders coming off a huge loss at home versus the Vikings and the Lions just got their first win in Green Bay in some time. The Raiders have proven that they can go on the road and play tough.

RAIDERS

Indianapolis Colts (4-5) @ Atlanta Falcons (6-3)

So the Colts now find themselves in a dogfight for their division without their QB for the next couple of weeks.

FALCONS

New York Jets (5-4) @ Houston Texans (4-5)

Continuing the trend of one team coming off a big win squaring off against another team trying to bounce back from a shock defeat. Texans are now confident and playing with a chip on their shoulders.

TEXANS

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5) @ Philadelphia Eagles (4-5)

By now you know the moniker - team lost last week when they should have won (Eagles), team won last week when I expected them to lose (Bucs). Eagles are home but, are without starting QB Sam Bradford.

EAGLES

Denver Broncos (7-2) @ Chicago Bears (4-5)

So Jay Cutler has stuck it to me the last two weeks. Denver will sit Peyton Manning this week, but that Denver defence will be in play.

BRONCOS

St Louis Rams (4-5) @ Baltimore Ravens (2-7)

Let’s switch it up. Both teams lost last week - St Louis in a more embarrassing fashion - so this week they have made a change at quarterback.

RAVENS

Dallas Cowboys (2-7) @ Miami Dolphins (4-5)

See, yes, that quick, it took us one game to get back to it; team lost last week when they should have won (Cowboys), team won last week that they should have lost (Dolphins). Tony Romo is back.

COWBOYS

Washington Redskins (4-5) @ Carolina Panthers (9-0)

Redskins making a push for the playoffs in a wide open NFC East. Last week I had a hunch about the the Bengals upset. This week a have another hunch, Cam Newton will play big.

PANTHERS

Kansas City Chiefs (4-5) @ San Diego Chargers (2-7)

Throw the standings out of the window here. These two teams know each other well, too well in fact. Andy Reid continues his strong coaching performance, but...

CHARGERS

Green Bay Packers (6-3) @ Minnesota Vikings (7-2)

So, the Packers are on a slide while the Vikings are heating up. This game is in Minnesota and Adrian looks like a MVP back.

VIKINGS

San Francisco 49ers (3-6) @ Seattle Seahawks (4-5)

This game is pretty straightforward. Seattle is at home and they’re the better team.

SEAHAWKS

Sunday Night Football

Cincinnati Bengals (8-1) @ Arizona Cardinals (7-2)

So the Bengals just dropped their first L for the year ... as a reward, they are on their way to Arizona. L number two.

CARDINALS

Buffalo Bills (5-4) @ New England Patriots (9-0)

“We are on to Buffalo” - 10-0 behind a strong showing from Brandon LaFell this week.

PATRIOTS

Teams on Bye:

New York Giants (5-5)

New Orleans Saints (4-6)

Cleveland Browns (2-8)

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4)
