AN author has planned the launch of his new book to coincide with his 65th birthday.

Dr Albert S Ferguson, JP, has announced the book launch for his new publication, “Pearls of Wisdom - Sage Counsel From A Veteran Educator, Retired Corporate Manager, Pentecostal Clergyman and Transformational Leader”, to be held on Sunday, November 29.

The book is described as “a book of philosophical and transformational writings”, and according to the author, “it is destined to become a classic and a pinnacle of his published works”.

Dr. Ferguson said that generations who have absolutely no appreciation for the experiences of generations before them, such as life on the poverty side of Collins Wall in the 1950s, or of the complexion of Bay Street in the early 1960s, or of raising Ten British Pounds Sterling and Ten shillings to pay the annual tuition to attend The Government High School in 1963, or of the economic risks of open and public association with the PLP in 1967, will be afforded an opportunity to experience a snapshot of our social and cultural history.

The book launch takes place on November 29, at 4pm, at the southern chapel of The Church of God of Prophecy, the Headquarters church, located on East Street & Sunlight Village/Sunlight Cottage.
