Nassau Darts Association hosts Captain’s Shoot-Out to officially kick off new season

THE Nassau Darts Association (NDA) hosted its Captain’s Shoot-Out at the Tailgater 601 Bay Street to officially kick off its new season on Wednesday night.

Newly elected president Michael Moss Jr, captain of Da Family Dart team, took the title over Dwight Eneas of the Ray’s Stingrays.

Moss Jr went undefeated with a 12-0 win-loss record. He also had the lowest darts ever with 12 (13 and 14). The previous lowest darts record was set by Christian Knowles in 2013 with 15. Harry Brown had the highest finish ever recorded with 157.

Moss Jr is joined on the executive board by Lorenzo Deveaux, vice president, Helen Sweeting, secretary, Charlene Fox, treasurer, Mike Russell, director, Kenny Wallace-Whitfield, tournament director, Liz Kemp, youth director, Ingrid Jean, press secretary, Julie Arthur, statistician and Michel Moss Sr, statistician (2).

The league is expected to start on Wednesday, October 7.
