THERE are certain events that take place where everything you know is put on hold to assist a fellow countryman in need.
This week we have witnessed first hand the spirit of the Bahamian people in the aftermath of Hurricane Joaquin. Many communities, businesses and individuals throughout the Bahamas have put their lives on hold and and united to assist those fellow families, friends or Bahamians in the southern Bahamas.
Forward, Upward Onward Together has been renewed and provided hope this week for a better and brighter Bahamas. Two examples from Spanish Wells: Atlantic Lady is pictured heading with supplies to San Salvador while First One heads to Long Island.
